I made a point of phoning and checking if Dottys was open on easter Monday knowing it fell on a bank holiday. I was assured it was open and I made a booking for my 11 year old daughters birthday which I was made to pay for at the time of booking. Only to be phoned up 2 weeks later to be told oh no we're closed and trying to blame the booking system for letting me book..although I actually spoke to someone to place the booking, and I have photographic evidence that it was open.
Anyway I moved the booking to yesterday, was promised prosecco for the adults upon arrival and extra goodies for the kids due to the mistake with the initial booking. I also had to add another child on as my friend had no childcare for him.
Now the food was lovely as expected but the customer service not so good. Knowing it was a birthday treat for my daughter I had expected a bit of acknowledgement it was her birthday..but no nothing. I had to ask for the prosecco twice which they then tried to charge us for until we had to point out it was complementary, to which the response was oh yeah i remember now. There's was no extras and no acknowledgement that there had been a problem. Just brushed under the carpet and forgotten about.
Having worked in customer service myself I definitely know that if something has gone wrong, you go above and beyond to make it right. This didn't happen at Dottys and I left with a very sour taste in my mouth.

My friend took me to this beautiful, cute, classic, retro teahouse!! It was absolutely beautiful and so so cute. The deco is so beautiful and elegant!!! Can't wait to again! Service and staff are so so polite and attentive. So lovely to see such a place, in this declining high streets. Recommend it highly!!!

Thought more from a local business.

My best friends mother sadly passed away the week of Mothers Day, afternoon tea was booked for 3. Dottys were notified the day of the passing as they would not be visiting on Mothers Day. Multiple issues with receiving a voucher, a refund was requested as the full amount of £120 was paid for the day- they were told a refund could not be given.

This is unfair as they filled this spot per their Instagram noting they are fully booked for Mother’s Day. Therefore profiting from this heartbreaking situation.

Dealt with badly, no compassion.

Really disappointed and disgusted at the lack of compassion Dotty’s showed. My Fiancé’s mum sadly passed away on the Tuesday before Mother’s Day this year. Despite giving 5 days notice of the booking cancelling for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea due to her passing, Dotty’s refused to give a refund and didn’t show any compassion to the situation. They did eventually issue a voucher (only after we followed up) but still no compassion shown.

Just been in to grab some sausage rolls. First of all they didn't taste that great, Greggs taste better and second they charged £11 for two sausage rolls! There were no prices on the items, so I was expecting about £3 each max. I wouldn't recommend.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations.

I ordered a Croque Madame, expecting the classic French dish: a toastie with béchamel sauce, ham, cheese, and a fried egg on top. However, what I received was two lukewarm toasted pieces of bread with tomato inside—something not mentioned on the menu and completely inaccurate for a Croque Madame.

Worse, there was no béchamel sauce, and instead of a properly melted, gooey cheese filling, there was just grated cheese that wasn’t even halfway melted. For £11, this felt like a complete rip-off. I couldn’t eat it because it tasted completely inadequate and far from what was advertised.

While I appreciate the kind service, I would not recommend this dish unless the restaurant updates its recipe or description to reflect what they’re actually serving.

I must add that my family ordered pancake breakfasts and they looked great! I was just extremely disappointed in my food!

I am very disappointed in our experience at Dotty Teahouse. We were a group of 6 adults with one toddler. When we arrived at the tea house, we were not very welcome. The faces of the servers were not friendly and welcoming. Taking the order took time, and then they made mistakes: not serving the lemonade we ordered, not bringing the can from which the juice was coming, but pouring it straight into the glass. The quality of the food was terrible; the tomato soup was disgusting. And the most disgusting behaviour was my friend paid the bills for all of us. And one of the servers was on her way to double-charge us. It wasn't very ethical for her.
Such a terrible attitude.

I had lunch with my friend Mrs Lesley Green who reserved a table at this lovely, welcoming tea room. I had a special cheese on toast with a tasty chutney and a lovely hot pot of tea. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The tea room was beautiful. I loved the experience. My sister and I will be back.

We visited Dotty's Teahouse the day after Valentine’s Day for a late celebration with my wife and our two toddlers (aged 1 and 3), and it was an absolutely delightful experience.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Knowing we had young children, they thoughtfully seated us in a private room, giving us a comfortable and relaxed space to enjoy our time without worrying about disturbing other guests. The décor was charming, creating a beautiful setting that made for some stunning photos.

The service was exceptional—staff were incredibly attentive and truly doted on our little ones, making us feel like royalty. The food was a big hit, especially the cakes and Valentine’s cookies, which our toddlers couldn’t get enough of!

Overall, we had such a lovely experience that we’re already considering booking again for our wedding anniversary. If you're looking for a welcoming, family-friendly tearoom with fantastic service and delicious treats, I highly recommend Dotty’s Teahouse!

I have just had a very disappointing gluten free afternoon tea at Dotties. I feel as though my tea was just thrown together. I was given 4 chunky finger sandwiches with 3 different fillings and 7 pieces of cake. No scones or sausage rolls like my friends who were having the standard tea, and not even a packet of love hearts as they had. These things are possible to make, or even buy. Other places where I have had an afternoon tea have managed it!!! The only good part of my tea was the unlimited tea and the prosecco.
I will definitely not be returning to Dotties or recommending it.

Had a yummy lunch with the family…BUT the whole experience was completely ruined by the hostess called Alma (the Asian lady). She is incredibly rude and sarcastic!! She makes you feel like you are a massive inconvenience to her life and has absolutely no idea how to deliver customer service. Such a shame one person can ruin the whole afternoon.
Have a look through the other negative reviews and most of them are about this same member of staff.
I am very surprised the owner still employs such a horrible woman to work there!!!

I ordered the vegetarian afternoon tea to go which was great value for money. The cakes were divine. When I went to pick it up though they actually had prepared non-veg sandwiches, so I had to wait for them to correct this. It would be good to have more sandwich options rather than just meat and vegetarian e.g catering to pescatarians.

I recently took my two great aunts and my American cousin to Dotty's Teahouse for afternoon tea, and it was a lovely experience. The teahouse has a charming, cosy atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

The afternoon tea was delightful, with a nice selection of fresh sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of sweet treats.

The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed and enjoyable vibe. It was the perfect spot for a family afternoon, and we all left feeling satisfied and happy. Dotty's Teahouse is definitely a place I'd recommend for a cosy and fun afternoon tea.

Really couldn’t say enough great things about this tea house. I’m visiting family in England, and this was my first tea time experience. We all went out as a family, including the children, the youngest of the bunch being a 1 year old and 3years old. Dining with children of this age can be difficult with temper tantrums, and the everyday particularities of children; however Michelle and Alma made us feel so welcome and were super understanding. The children really took to them! In such a short time my children seemed like they found kindred spirits in them. Such an unexpected and wonderful moment to be shared with them.

Now, about the food. I went for a tea experience, so I got the authentic English tea and scones with cream and jam. I was a little apprehensive about the English tea, because I’m more of an herbal tea drinker…. and I’m not a fan of milk; but I was delightfully surprised. I combined my tea, milk, and sugar as instructed and took a sip; 4 full tea cups later, I can now add English tea to my roster. They had a lunch menu available for the time we attended. I was thinking of ordering the chicken club…. But I was discouraged by the fact that sliced bread was used instead of a bun and decided against ordering. I ordered and cheese sandwich for my 1yeaf old… and when he decided to take over my scones with cream and jam I took a few bites of his cheese sandwich. The sliced bread was soft and had great texture. I instantly regretted not ordering that sandwich. The tea and scones were very filling, so I didn’t really have room for more food anyway.

All in all the food was delicious, and the customer service was beyond what I expected!! Can’t wait to make at least one more trip back before the end of my vacay!

Highly recommended a visit to Dotty’s Teahouse. Such a beautiful setting for a brunch date or lunch with friends, they even do a bottomless option too. Rebecca and the team are so helpful and friendly. All of the cakes are made on the premises and they have a really good selection. The giant cookies and ice cream and the colouring sheets also went down a treat with the kids.

Took my mum here for afternoon tea for birthday treat. Was quite disappointed with the food, Sandwiches where abit slap dash not much filling in them and very basic, cakes were ok nothing special, I was expecting a bit more considering they bake all their own in house.

There coffee was very nice however you had to pay extra if you wanted a cappuccino/ latte, thought that was abit cheeky considering how much you pay for afternoon tea, your first drink and any type of coffee should be included then anything after extra charges should be applied.

The place its self was very pretty loved the decor and the staff were pleasant.

They are kid and dog friendly which is a bonus.

I’m not in a rush to go back, but if I do I will be trying the lunch menu instead.

Really pretty cafe on the corner of the highstreet.
Was recommended here by a friend so wanted to try it. Booked online which was an easy process.
The place has seating inside and a few seats outside the front. It wasn't very busy during the day, we arrived at midday.
The brunch option on the website wasn't available, just the lunch time menu. Not a lot to choose from.
Food was standard for a cafe.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
The highlight for me was the selection or sweet treats at the counter. Everything made inhouse which was very appealing to me.
Next time I'll just go for a hot drink and cakes.

Went today with my 10 month old baby and my Mum. Got greeted basically at the door and seated straight away. Warm welcome and helpful. They cleaned the high chair before giving to us, without having to ask, which I very much appreciated. The baby changing unit was very clean and actually used it (I never usually use them at venues). It is quite high up on the wall but being 5'6 I could use it comfortably, just.

Got the pancake stack (bacon, dusting of sugar and maple syrup) and pot of tea, came to £13 for both which was well worth it. Tea was loose leaf and delicious, tea set so cute too. Pancakes was tasty and filling which was a pleasant surprise as im usually hungry after.

Atmosphere was very peaceful, warm and cosy. Decorated beautifully. Looking forward to going again very soon.

Easy for a solo cup or tea but also great place for a special occasion.

We celebrated my Nan’s 60th wedding anniversary, unfortunately my grandad passed away and so we went out to celebrate on his behalf. I told Dottys Tea House and they surprised me and my nan with a lovely glass of bubbly and a beautiful dessert with a written message. Such a gorgeous little touch and my nan was very tearful and grateful. On top of this, the food was absolutely wonderful, everything was fresh and we were so full, we came back with treats and finished it off in the evening. The tea was plentiful which was nice to see as usually you only get a cup of two in other places. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were brilliant. Thank you so much to the team, it’s our favourite little spot and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very pretty little tea house/cafe. Friendly and helpful staff today. We had tea , coffee and 3 different cakes. The tea was delicious. The cakes were average-one was a bit stale-and they were on the small side. It is worth being aware that a piece of cake is roughly £5. I was a little bit shocked by this price-worth checking before ordering. A pot of tea for 2 was £6 something. The 3 stars is about the prices primarily. Not sure that I would visit again due to the price unfortunately.
Worth knowing that they do have gluten free options.

Our cream tea was lovely but my problem was with the pricing. On the website the traditional cream tea was priced at £6.95. However when I went this afternoon we were actually charged £9.95 pp. A discrepancy of 50% is pretty shocking and very misleading. When I returned home after checking the website again I phoned up. I was informed that this had been pointed out by someone else but the website had not been updated. I don't know if other items are incorrectly priced but at its kindest this is very sloppy and poor.

We were a walk-in customer yesterday. We were seated quickly and given menus.

I ordered the salmon and broccoli fritatta. I wish I had taken a photo as whilst it tasted good, it was honestly the smallest portion ever. It would have fed a child the cost was £8.50!

After lunch, we opted for a sweet treat. My mum ordered a slice of lemon drizzle. It was dry, and I had absolutely no lemon flavouring in the sponge itself. We asked to replace it, which they did swiftly. However, what followed next was incredibly off-putting and should never happen in any food establishment. The server used her hands to put the cake my mum chose as a replacement onto the plate.

I asked for some more hot water, just to top up the cup that is pictured with this review. I was refused.. honestly, what does hot water cost? What is the value of good customer service/ satisfaction? This is terrible customer service! If I had asked for a whole pot of hot water, I could understand.

In conclusion, absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion. It's not our first time visiting. However, I will be in absolutely NO rush to head back, which is a real shame.

Lived in the area for a while, but this is the first time we had time to try try this place. I mainly been a bit sceptical as some reviews are quite bad. When we walked in all tables seemed to be reserved, but staff found us a table quickly. We had lunch, 2 cafe lates and club sandwich and croque Madame. Price was a bit expensive £10 per sandwich, but it was really tasty! Girl who served us was really friendly and helpful, we had a very nice experience! And coffee was also excellent! We’ll be back! Recommend! Toilets also nice and clean!

Such an aesthetically pleasing and pleasant place all around. I took my son here for a little valentines date- he’s 5 and they were so friendly and attentive to both of us.
My son struggled to finish the milkshake, however staff let us take it away too!
Didn’t get any nasty vibes, everything was clean and tidied up ready for next customers. I only had a small brunch traditional tea, but could see and smell the rest, which I will soon be back to try!
Thank you so much! Xxx

A charming and unique independent tea room.

From the moment you walk through the door, the staff are always friendly and eager to accommodate your requirements.

The variety of options available is impressive: a dedicated drinks menu, food menu offering both seasonal and staple items; and an array of enticing cakes on display. I just had to try one of the 'spooky season' delights!

In addition to this, Dotty's offers a range of different afternoon teas, though these are very popular so require advanced booking.

Definitely one of my favourite tea rooms that I happily return to time and time again.

We enjoyed sharing brunch, which comes with pancakes, scones, yogurt and chocolate cake + coffee! It was a quite big size so good for when you are hungry. Delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. I like the interior of the place as well. The coffee is good and strong.

Ps: we were served by very friendly guy, Georgi and he kindly gave us a box to take home the un eaten scones!

The salmon scrambled egg on toast was salty. I've been told that it's salty because its smoked salmon! 😅 and they offered a lemon to added on🙆🏾‍♀️ no happy at all ! I expected a better food and experience due to the 4.5 ⭐s. They could add a salads or at least a tomato to compensate the crazy price the charge for a simple salty toast. I give ⭐ for the friendly staff and the coffe👍

Popped in for an impromptu sparkling cream tea today, rather refreshing in the heat! Done to the usual Dotty's standard with lovely warm scones, perfectly chilled prosecco and all conveniences for the two babies we had with us and now they are going to be serving ice-cream too! Love having a unique tearoom in our local high street to enjoy with friends and family. The lady waiting on our table was very kind and helpful too.

Delightful Dotties! I went to this amazing Tea House in Carshalton today at 3:30. I think this Tea House is an up and coming one, it was absolutely lovely and so much better than I imagined.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, the customer service was definitely a cut above. The waitress noticing we were struggling with making a decision started to help us narrow down our options by asking questions like hot or cold and when we got near a choice she made a recommendation. She was so friendly and clearly enjoyed working where she was as did the other genuinely smiley staff.

The food was great. We had scones, tea (a special herbal blend), a cappuccino and a lemon drizzle cake. The cake and scones were light, fluffy and full of flavour. My tea was bursting with flavour. Presentation of our food wasn't novel, there are many vintage tea shops presenting baked goods on china. However, we did see presentation of other food, such as their avocado on toast which weirdly had a really playful vibe to it.

The overall feel of the place was a 10/10 for me, it was well styled and there was a huge attention to detail evident. Love has been poured into the place from the well chose decor to the fab vintage vibe playlist you just cant help sing along to. The staff have obviously been chosen for their ability to add to the vibe of the place, all seemingly playful, smiley, energetic and knowledgeable about the food.

I utterly loved it! Special thanks to our smiley waitress today and hats off to your customer service skills.

The afternoon tea was one we had wanted to experience for a long time, I had ordered this in advance to celebrate the queen's jubilee. Then two days before the day I got a call to say I have only booked one afternoon tea item for 3 people. She said its not for sharing, I had to explain that once we are seated I would be ordering something else rather than all of us having the same thing, she mentioned again that the afternoon tea is not for sharing. I didn't feel like eating cold sandwiches for lunch but my kids love scones and cakes plus I love this tradition to think how they did it back in the olden days. On the day, Dotty was lovely and welcoming, she really made us feel welcomed like a mother hen, the food was excellent, at least we didn't have to deal with the lady from the front end. I was just feeling paranoid after the phone call and couldn't enjoy completely with thoughts running through my mind but I'm still glad I didn't cancel after that call simply because the lady over the phone made me feel like it was a bad idea, in time I will forget her, my son enjoyed the afternoon tea as I have dairy allergies but he shared with his sister and we were all happy with the food.

Food was delicious, butternut sq & sw potato soup aswell along with a Club sandwich followed by a baked scone (with cream and jam). To drink a Pot of Tea (Assam) in decorative tea cups and strainer. Decor was very colourful with a bouquet of hanging dried flowers. Service with a smile and very welcoming, will be back.

Booked a table to meet with a couple of friends on a weekday morning. Staff were lovely except for one member of staff who spoke rudely to us a couple of times. She seemed uninterested in our dietary restrictions. There are hardly any vegan options at all. The only things we could order was a houmous wrap, hot chocolate (made with plant based milk) and a flapjack. The flapjack was very sweet, must have been drenched in golden syrup. I couldn't finish it. I would go back only if they added more vegan options to their menu. I asked about vegan cakes on their Instagram and was told they have some but nothing was vegan in the cakes section. Such a shame. Their loss really. It would make business sense to cater for those on a plant based diet.

We booked this place for birthday celebration as a small group of friends. Although the details were spoken on the phone before coming we had a confusion about placement. It is acceptable that this kind of misunderstandings sometimes happen but except one polite staff others were very rude while explaining the situation. Especially a woman I don’t know if she was manager or not , from her servicing to the body language, was not friendly and made me feel unwanted there. If only I had not chosen this place but never again.

Have ordered two afternoon teas from Dotty's. One for myself and a present for a friend. Mine was just lovely and my daughter loved the way it was presented. I also had a child tea as well and my 3 year old grandchild thought she was so grown up. Jam sandwiches are one of her favourites, and the cakes she had went down a treat with grandad as well. All in all pleased with this and will try the breakfast box next.
My friend has phoned to thank me for the gift. She has said the sandwiches look great, as she is a vegetarian not always a great choice but she was well happy. And said she will be saving some for tommorrw. The bubbly is in the fridge and she is ready to go.
The delivery option is fantastic especially in lockdown, and it is a great gift to send to friends as a pick me up. It is a shame that the minimum spend is £20.00, but can understand why this is the case, but I would be able to send the £10.00 scones jam etc to more of my volunteers. But will definitely be ordering again soon.
Thanks for the pick me up Dotty's.

1st visit for me today and unfortunately I was underwhelmed. To be fair my wife & daughter have been before and I was probably expecting a little too much based on their previous reviews.

I had the cheese on toast but was disappointed to find the bread was just plain old medium sliced bread. I was expecting some nice home made bread or perhaps a thick slice of sourdough.

My son-in-law to be had the fully loaded pancakes but found the sausages very disappointing and the scrambled eggs had clearly been microwaved and were overcooked so he left both items. Both looked very anemic, in fact the eggs were almost white, and the pancakes were quite small.

The waitress was very attentive and said she would take the eggs and sausages off the bill which was a very nice touch. However when it came this didn’t seem to have been done. I pointed this out to him but he didn’t want to make a fuss and as it was his treat I felt I would respect his wish.

With the eat out scheme the bill was acceptable but without that discount I would definitely have been inclined to push the point.

On the upside the cakes looked delicious and the tea was excellent. I took a piece of carrot cake away (purely for research purposes you understand!) but haven’t had chance to try it yet.

I took my mum and aunt visiting from Australia. We had the Alice in wonderland afternoon tea. So much food. Amazing price and we all had a wonderful time. I was heavily pregnant and looked after by the staff getting me a different chair etc. Endless top ups. We had a wonderful time. Can't wait to take my mum back in August 2019 x

Charming, cosy & creative - love the concept of a friendly, flowery, pink Alice in Wonderland place. Also great for throwing kids birthday parties. One of my favourite coffee shops.

This place is amazing - I had arranged a birthday treat for my wife and accidently booked the wrong place! They were very busy but kindly accommodated us so that my wife’s birthday wasn’t ruined due to my mistake! They served us quickly, were lovely and friendly and even put a candle on one of the cakes!!!
I would really recommend this place to all - a lovely, quaint little tea room with lovely, friendly staff and tasty sweet treats!

Really nice tea room. We went for lunch and the sandwiches and cake were lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
But the real star was the tea, I had three pots! Delicious and fragrant Earl grey. Planning to book in afternoon tea there soon.

Lovely place to go for lunch or afternoon tea. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are friendly and attentive. The cheese toast was delicious and you do get quite a good amount of food for the price. The cake was also pretty great.

What a little gem! Decent sandwiches and good service. Cake was fluffy and moist, just right. Can't fault Dotties. Will be back!

Lovely little tea house. Lovely mismatched crockery. Lovely cream tea with big pot of tea. Interesting home made cakes, chocolate and mint, poppyseed and orange.

Cute and cosy teahouse with lovely cakes and lots of tea varieties. It could do with a revamp of the furnishings but that sort of adds to its charm.

Such a lovely little tea shop. A relaxed atmosphere with a good choice of options on the menu and home made cakes too. Will definitely go back to try a brunch as the food looked scrummy.

This tea room is really cute and has baby pink walls with tea pots over them. Really cute ambience and amazing staff. They serve scrumptious scones with clotted cream, marmalade and English tea. They also have a mouth watering range of freshly baked cakes. Our usual breakfast spot.

I've been here many times now and always enjoyed it. They are so friendly and helpful to those with babies. There is space at the back to bring your pushchair in and sit down. There is a little play area in the corner for children - toddlers upwardsI would say. Table service with friendly waitresses. Lunchtime mealdeal is great value and yummy. Don't forget to use your Carshalton mum's badge/card if you have one ??

Pleasant venue with good service and food choices. Tea party for 5 went well ...only issue was loud background music and road noise...sit away from the door. A lovely afternoon...

Quaint tea House in Carshalton Village. Friendly service, excellent selection of teas and nice atmosphere. None of the crockery match but that adds to the charm of the place. Tea is always served in China cups for the best taste.

Booked a table for my friends baby shower and it couldn't have been more wonderful. The afternoon tea was delicious and there was so much of It! Great value! The staff were flexible and accommodating of all our requests. They let us decorate the table, added us an extra chair and helped us with a toast. It was a lovely afternoon and I send a massive thanks to the team for their hard work! Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, and excellent cakes. Perfect place for a nice afternoon tea. The Coke float is a real winner, and comes in a jar style glass. The place might look small from the outside, but there's plenty of room in the back, along with a children's play area ( toys and books ).

We had a wonderful tea here this afternoon for my sisters birthday. The staff were lovely, attentive without being intrusive and you felt that nothing was too much trouble. We were offered more sandwiches when we cleared the ones that were brought out in no time!! Ended up taking a doggy bag home of the cakes we couldn't finish! Can't praise them enough and we will definitely be back .

I visited Dolly's Teahouse for the first time today with my sister and great niece and was so impressed....I loved the atmosphere,it was so friendly, clean and welcoming, the hot chocolate is to die for as well as the cake and bread pudding, lovely clean toilet and a nice little children's play area, we wasn't rushed to give up our table at all and there were lots of little interesting bits and pieces you could purchase around the Teahouse....all in all I would highly recommend Dolly's if you love the traditional cup of tea in China teapots and cups and wonderful cake....as well really nice staff and good prices too!

This place is a rip-off. They only sell basic sandwiches, so the make virtually 100% profit. It is so over priced that I cannot believe anyone would pay what they are charging.
They have put this place together with the minimum of attention to floor or chairs. I think that people cannot see past the buntin and artificial flowers.

It's a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, with fantastic and efficient service. They run events for children in the holidays, pottery painting is one they're running this summer. They are very focused on making people of all ages feel welcome and at home. There are two rooms, the back room where we sat was spacious and there were toys for toddlers to play with. I loved it and can't wait to go back again.

Had tea at Dotty's today with a friend and her little baby. I was really impressed with the attentive and friendly service from all the staff, without being in your face. It is a charming place that is welcoming to families with small children and babies. We enjoyed delicious toasties, tea, coffee and cakes, all very reasonably priced and served in spacious, bright, clean and tastefully decorated tea rooms. Perfect spot for something to eat and a relaxing chat. Thanks for a lovely time. It made catching up with my friend really special. I look forward to returning soon. Phyllis.

I visited here today with my family who have recently moved to the area. We were a little late for our booking but they could not have been more accommodating and offered us a lovely welcome. What a lovely environment and the most friendly of staff. We had a pot of English breakfast tea, cakes and scones with jam and cream. A most delightful experience. We will return.
